Check your insurance policy

Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance

This kind of insurance can help with your mortgage repayments if your income has fallen because of redundancy, accident or illness. It’s sometimes called Accident, Sickness and Unemployment insurance.

You might have taken it out when you got your mortgage – we’ll check our information, but you should also look through your paperwork. You may have other policies that could help you with your personal circumstances, such as those relating to critical illness or life insurance.
